This policy explains what personal information URA Technology (“we”, “us”) collects through uratechnology.com, why we collect it, who processes it for us, and the choices you have. What we collect
When you contact us
The contact form sends us:
- your name and email address, and your company if you give it;
- your timeline, what you need, any roles you selected, and your message;
- the referral code in the link you arrived from, if there was one, so we can credit the partner who referred you;
- your IP address, which we use to limit how often one address can send the form and to investigate spam.
When you browse the site
We do not use analytics, advertising or tracking cookies, and we do not build profiles of visitors. Like any website, our hosting and network providers keep short-lived technical logs (such as IP address, browser type and the pages requested) to keep the site running and secure.
Specialists in our talent directory
Profiles in the talent directory describe real people: their name, photo, role, location, skills, work history and professional links. We publish a profile only with that person’s agreement, and remove it on request.
How we use it
- to reply to your enquiry and discuss working together;
- to keep the site secure and the contact form free of spam;
- to credit referral partners for the introductions they make.
We do not sell your information, use it for advertising, or add you to a marketing list. We make no automated decisions about you.
Legal basis (EU, EEA and UK visitors)
We process enquiry information because you asked us to respond, and as a step towards a possible contract with you. We process IP addresses and technical logs under our legitimate interest in keeping the site secure. Directory profiles are published with the consent of the person described, which they can withdraw at any time.
Who processes it for us
We use these service providers, each only for the purpose listed:
- Google Cloud: hosts the website and its servers;
- Neon: hosts the database where enquiries are stored;
- Cloudflare: network delivery and security, and storage of directory photos;
- Resend: delivers the notification email for each enquiry;
- Microsoft 365: our company mailbox, where those notifications arrive.
We may also disclose information where the law requires it. Your information is stored in the United States. Where it is transferred from the EU, EEA or UK, we rely on our providers’ standard contractual safeguards.
How long we keep it
We delete each enquiry automatically 24 months after we receive it, unless you become a client, in which case we keep it for as long as we work together. You can ask us to delete it sooner at any time. Technical logs are kept by our providers for a short period, typically around 30 days.
Your choices and rights
You can ask us to show you the information we hold about you, correct it, delete it, or stop using it. If you are in the EU, EEA or UK you also have the right to complain to your local data protection authority. Email [email protected] and we will reply within 30 days.
Cookies
Public pages set no cookies. The only cookie on this site is a strictly necessary one that keeps our own staff signed in to the site’s admin area.
Children
This site is for businesses and is not directed at anyone under 16.
Security
The site is served only over encrypted connections, and access to enquiries is limited to our staff through a password-protected admin area.
Changes
If we change how we handle personal information, we will update this page and the date at the top. See also our Terms of Service.
